  1. Having long hair being a man will sometimes get you stopped and asked to step over to the side. It happened to me several times coming home from cruises in the the Caribbean. I even told some of the people at the back of the line it was going to happen to me due to the long hair. They laughed till it happened, then they started to call out the agents. They let me go quicker that time.

  2. Being stressed will not get you "flagged", even being a asshole passenger will not get you "flagged", Customs is part of Dept of Homeland Security, not part of TSA, yeah talking about having/hiding weapons is not a good idea, it will get you "flagged", Having coffee beans/grounds is the biggest bullshit lie that is told unless it is in liquid form, Customs might might have a interest with the beans/grounds, it may be checked by a TSA Officer (Not "Agent") but it WILL NOT be "confiscated", water bottles at the bottom of a bag does not make TSA think you 'have something to hide" it is however irritating as now they have to dig through all your dirty stinky clothes to get it out, Make up in your bag does not make you a "person of interest" (eyeroll) TSA has not foiled a major terrorist's plot …. how do you know ??? trying to sneak something in … could cost you some freedom and some $$, TSA does not care about your electronics as long as you take them out of your bag so they can be screened, electronics are one of the biggest reasons the lines slow down, spot on with I.D., meds will not bring down a aircraft, therefor they are not going to get you "flagged" unless it a liquid over the amount and they they will get extra screening, So only ONE thing that was said in the 7 minute 31 second video is accurate. How do I know all this you may ask ??? I fly at least 3 times a week for the last 11 yrs for work and I have seen the bullshit passengers give these Officers over stupid little trivial shit. Read the signs, pay attention to what you are being advised and you will have no problems, its not rocket science.

  3. TSA Before 9/11:
Security: "What do you have with you?" Guy: "No just a ticking box that you shouldn't open until we're on the plane"

    TSA After 9/11:
Security: "What do you have with you?"
Guy: "A Tiny bottle of eye safe soap & a copy of a bubble guppies book"
Security: "Yeah we're gonna have to do a cavity search"

  4. Many of the video clips and things mentioned in this are outdated or misinformed. For example, people have freedom of speech and you won't be given a patdown or interrogated for simply saying you don't like the TSA or insulting an officer… There's the real possibility there will be a genuine alarm that needs to be resolved from something you left in your pockets or something in your bags, but you will never ever ever be physically touched for verbally insulting an officer. Also keep in mind that TSA isn't there to stop you from taking water or coffee on a plane, TSA is there to stop hazardous items from getting on a plane. Water and coffee both will require some form of additional screening typically because they look like they could be other dangerous items. Large liquids aren't typically allowed because the screening process to clear those items as not being a threat isn't very fast and would slow down the line way too much to check for every single person.

  5. They're just trying to keep us safe. I fly all the time and always show up to my flight around 45 mins – 1 hour early, bring my empty water bottle through TSA, and wear slides with socks. It's pretty painless. I've never been stopped, or waited in line for very long, it usually just takes around 15 mins and flying is worth getting to travel to so many places :)

  6. I worked for the NSA as a Law Enforcement Officer and was placed on Precheck status and ended up always encountering enhanced screening by the TSA. X-rayed and then a Pat down and swiped for the Itemiser -always negative – so pathetic!

  7. I get frisked every time I fly…I swear I’ve had more TSA workers grope my vagina than not. My husband didn’t believe me until we started traveling together and he finally got to see it first hand. TSA owes me a drink.

  8. I was stopped at DIA because my arm area was yellow plus my son sent my granddaughter a 1.5 lb ring pop. The worst stopping was at Pasco airport. They sealed the deal on me never flying in there again. Only one TSA agent was willing to talk to me after and was nice the ladies were rude. He told me to go have my arm checked since it showed up again. Going Monday. The DIA agents after the search of my bag they were nice and talked to you.

  9. It’s funny how so many people let a TSA check ruffle their feathers. I have TSA pre-check and it’s great. I started flying before security checks so I definitely appreciate what they are there to do.

  10. Customs and the TSA are different. The title is things that get you flaged by the TSA, so why are you bringing up Customs that would only apply if entering the country?

  11. I have been searched, insulted, bullied, and had TSA make rude comments to me. I am always polite and obey all regs…I was being wanded by an agent and it kept going off. I said to him"it could be the underwire in my bra". He got right in my face and yelled"YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT IS MAKING IT GO OFF, I AM HERE TO TELL YOU WHAT IS GOING ON!!!" I was shocked. He was the kind that liked to strut around with his hand on his gun butt. I was questioned by another female agent who rapid fired the questions faster than I could answer them, then she accused me of not co operating I got so nervous I knocked my hand against my coffee cup and she accused me of trying to assault her. It was a flippin' nightmare. Maybe I have 'resting bitch/terrorist face?' I avoid flying now. I hate airports and have a phobia about the TSA.

  12. The best way to avoid the idiocy of (T)he (S)upid (A)sses is to just "not fly". After one time dealing with their crap, I quit flying. I'd rather drive completely across the continent than deal with that crap.

  13. i got pulled aside and groped by one of these people for having a handkerchief in my pocket. not just a pat down but the whole thing. totally unnecessary and just a power trip.

  14. Here are some tips for people planning a trip to Australia, specially now with the COVID-19 top of the pops:
You will be asked where you have traveled in the past 14 days. Be truthful because it will show up on your passport anyway. Its a truth test.
Cash in excess of $1000 will raise a red flag. They just made possession of, or transacting in excess of $10k in cash illegal. Aussies mainly use debit cards, even for cups of coffee etc. Print out a copy of your bank balance back home and take it with you. They will be assessing your ability to fund a 14 day quarantine.
Don't bring any food in whatsoever. Do bring at least a two weeks supply of prescription medication and the prescriptions from home.
Have details available of your future whereabouts and how you can be contacted quickly. Mobile phone and email.
Don't be like one recent US traveler who was refused entry and placed in detention when he was found to have a small pistol "for self protection". You know about Australias gun laws, don't you?
Make sure you have medical cover in your travel insurance. If it precludes COVID-19, reconsider traveling. Medical care for residents and citizens is free but not for tourists. A 14 day quarantine stay in hospital will cost you $20k+. You may be ordered to self quarantine in a hotel at your own expense.
Powers of detention and health control orders are wide ranging, as Australia is now under a Biosecurty Act regime, giving the government extraordinary powers.
If you feel sick or get cold like symptoms when you are here, remain isolated and call 1800 020 080. You will be sent to a secure screening facility.

  15. Don't declare your cash bc they steal your money. Saw an episode where a man was sick and they stole his life savings $80k. They called the deal and the DEA took it and didn't arrest or charge her. The family is still trying to get the money back

  16. What WILL Get You Stopped by TSA: Almost anything.

What WON’T Get You Stopped by TSA: Coming back from a country known to have coronavirus with a fever and cough.

  17. Im a very seasoned traveled and have seen how the security measures have increased. I am smart enough to make sure to have my paper and doc7mentation in ordder. I am always courteous and do as im told, most of the time..
Sometimes its not possible to comply. Especially when its obvious.
What I mean is: Sometimes you have no choice .
    (Tris was what happened) :

That week life did not just hand me lemons, or rotten/ bad fruit.
Without over exaggeration it was a round kick in the head and a sucker punch jackhammer style.
Started with a silly small fall, escalating on to being in a accident and then the news from hell landed.. my beloved cousin, he who had been like a brother had suddenly died. Young and so vividly vital all his doings. I felt broken both physically and inside.
But Nothing could stop me from going!

I had to go on a (domestic) flight to attend to his burial.he was young and it was a shock to us all).,we had been best friends and ha and It was to far to drive especially since I had just been in an accident.
Since I was pretty badly injured the options were few. The multi fractured arm made crutches impossible, and the severely dislocated leg (bent ever part wrong way meaning forward, and same with knee and foot on the other leg) so wheelie was decided upon.
I was told to be careful and wear a metal corset since had four compressed bones and one crushed in my spine.
Certificates for all including reason for wheelchair etc..
    What was my f
Downfall was that one of the agents demanded i leave the chair so they could ru; it thru (ok shouldn’t be a problem I thought) and then he says: And you have to WALK thru the security gate ..
WI explained and showed my papers but he sourly stat3d… if you cant walk thru you wont get on any plane..
    So I had no choice.
Soon my casted, dislocated legs I zombie walked thu.
    And of cause it booped..
He had me walk back and forth.
My tears were running and the pain was outrageous .
So he gave me two choices since the metal plates they had operated in couldn’t be taken of. They had a device i had to get up on , not that those 10-15 cm was high but right there and then it was Mount Everest for me, but i could not stand on one legat a time as he requested. It was not possible..
So I had figured out begging didn’t help, so I said I needed the restroom, and from there I called his department-leader, explained and asked for help.
To my great relieve he came and he was very upset over what had gone down. He apologized and noted down my name and info, and made sure i got on the plane.
When I was returning home a few days later. When I got to the airport there was a messenger with a letter and a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

The letter contained a sincere apology, news that the man had been fired, and a as a small Compensation there was tickets for a all inclusive weekend at a top class spa .
So even if the will to comply is present the option to do so is not always there.

  18. 2:40 So if someone wears an NRA LIFE shirt, along with the red you know what hat, then they're being SCRUTINIZED! There goes our 5th Amendment Rights (when it's the right political decision), and I would bet $$ some thuggish type could have anti-fa, che and mao all over him, and be expedited through just as fast as that Hillary or Bernie supporter who just screamed at the NRA guy. Nope, there is no political bias here.

  19. I feel like a magnet for being pulled. I am not acting or being nervous, neither I carry weird stuff, but somehow they do. If they’d only tell me wat is wrong I’d appreciate
